client server file transfer project


Introduction 

This introductory chapter provides an overview ED-CHANNEL, along with the hardware, software required for using it and the platforms on which it is supported.  

About ED-CHANNEL

ED-CHANNEL is a simple client server application that is running in a same network or different network. This model is required. The ED-CHANNEL has an inbuilt strong encryption decryption capability that is not using any pre-existing algorithm for that. It is written and developed especially. Now a client can use ED-CHANNEL to talk to the server and can send the data and the file to the server. Now ED-CHANNEL is giving an option to transfer your data by encrypting that before transferring to the server and in the server that can be decrypted and used. This encryption decryption also is on your hand to enable it and disable it.

Note: The ED-CHANNEL supported platforms has no limit, all the required dependencies are shipped with the ED-CHANNEL. The platforms mentioned above are tested for this current release, and later with the new release they can be increased.

ED-CHANNEL Software Details

  • ED-CHANNEL is written and developed using C++. 
  • It is compiled under Linux with gnu compiler GCC version 4.x.x. 
  • Under windows it is build using Visual Studio 2005

ED-CHANNEL Hardware requirement

It has a very less requirement. Under Linux it can run with any lowest combination. Under windows it can run with a minimum that Windows function properly.

ED-CHANNEL Features

There are following features,
1.      It is heavily based on the socket API.
2.      Using the Design patterns.
3.      It is using threading model.
4.      Using the Data Structures internally.
5.      STL implementation is also used.

    Is this is encrypting file also when sending ?

      yes it will encrypt the file before sending and will decrypt later when it will reach to your destination machine.
      There is option to use this feature or not. Also one more point we are not using any encryption algorithm here, it is our own custom written algorithm.

      There are many criteria which decides the delivery time that we are taking.
      Here are they,

      1. For the complete new development with your requirement it may take a max of 1-2 weeks.
      2. For projects that are under development from our side will take a max 1 week.
      3. For an already developed projects that we have they take less than 1 week for little modification.
